This is my friend, Mr. Turkey. I absolutely love him, and everyone who comes over while he's out - most of the fall - comments on him. :)
Kenn & I went through Metammorah, Indiana, during Canal Days about four years ago, and Canal Days are a lot of fun if you're a shopper. :D The "turkey parts" were in one of the crafter's booths, and I just fell in love with him. So, we got him.
Every year, we go shopping JUST for that special pumpkin to bring Mr. Turkey to life. He usually sits on the corner of the kitchen counter, but this year he had a place of honor at the Thanksgiving table. :)
I hope Mr. Turkey made you smile. For me, it's those yearly traditions that make life special!
